This hands-on role will require you to perform all types of service requirements on a variety of forklift equipment.Working from our state-of-the-art workshop facility, you’ll enjoy the variety of the job that ensures your day is never the same. One day you may be performing preventative maintenance or minor repairs, followed by another day where you could be performing a challenging overhaul.Reporting to the Service Manager, you’ll also appreciate working with a great team of people at our Darwin branch who are there to support you.Don’t like working a typical 8am-5pm working week? At United, you’ll have the option of working a flexible 9-day fortnight. Plus, overtime is paid.You'll also receive an additional 5-days Anniversary Leave each year on top of your 4 weeks annual leave, which gives a total of *5 weeks leave.Key ResponsibilitiesThe key focus of this role involves the maintenance servicing of forklift and access equipment. This includes:Planned maintenance (PMP) and inspections,New machine builds,ModificationsQualifications / ExperienceTo be considered for this position, you will ideally have the following:Automotive mechanic trade background,Be a team player,Be able to work with minimal supervision,Good customer service relationships,Must be reliable and punctual.Electrical and hydraulic experience highly regarded.
