The role of the Director (Employee Products) provides leadership in the design and delivery of CSB's strategic product roadmap in relation to Employee and Business Management products and services.
What you will do:
* Lead the Employee and Business Management product development, delivery and implementation through the application of human centered design principles, change management frameworks, and in collaboration with internal and external branch stakeholders.
* Contribute to fiscal sustainability through identifying whole of life costs and management effort associated with employee and business management products
* Identify and prioritise roadmap initiatives and projects in alignment with the Customer Services Branch Strategy, key business objectives, SCRUM resourcing capacity and subject matter expert capability or availability.
* Oversee and sign off on completed work items, ensuring the release of Employee and Business Management products meets business / employee needs and addresses pain points in line with legislation, policy and best practice.
* Lead CSB Employee and Business Management product related engagement with TMR and wider government to advocate policy changes and simplifications for relevant products or services, as well as providing advice on Employee products for the branch.
We are looking for an individual with:
* Proven ability to strategically deliver employe centric designed product services in alignment with business priorities in a complex, changing and diverse customer services business.
* Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills including the ability to develop innovative strategies, work arounds and solutions.
* Demonstrated experience in agile project methodologies, benefit realization, risk management and change management of complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
* Proven people leadership ability of multi-functional project teams and is adept at guiding teams through challenging situations, with high interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others.
* Excellent stakeholder management abilities, including the ability to build and sustain effective working relationships as well as proven communication and negotiation abilities.
* Demonstrated skills interpreting legislation and best practice to ensure the promotion of an inclusive workplace where health, safety and wellbeing are prioritised.
