About the role Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Relocation Supervisor. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative company committed to excellence in the trades and services industry. What you'll be doing: Coordinate and oversee projects relating to commercial relocations and aspects of FF&E of various building components and systems Ensure all practices adhere to project specifications, building codes, and safety standards Manage and supervise a team of trades and technicians, providing guidance and support Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery Identify and resolve any relocation issues in a timely and efficient manner Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the process Contribute to the continuous improvement of installation processes and procedures What we're looking for Proven experience as a supervisor, or has been in a similar leadership role within the building trades industry Strong technical knowledge and understanding of building systems, materials, and installation processes Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and guidelines Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met Commitment to safety and a track record of promoting a safe work environment They value their employees and strive to provide a supportive and rewarding work environment.
