Position Overview: The Plant Hire Client Relationship Manager will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations for our plant hire machinery business (Girri Birrang Hire). This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing key client accounts to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the plant hire or construction industry, excellent leadership skills, and a customer-focused approach.Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Strategy and Execution:Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets and growth objectives.Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients.Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies and maintain competitive advantage. 2. Client Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.Manage and resolve any client issues or concerns to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. 3. Sales Operations: Oversee the preparation and negotiation of rental contracts and agreements. Ensure accurate and timely processing of sales orders and documentation. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., operations, finance) to ensure smooth delivery and service. 4. Reporting and Analysis: Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management. Track and assess sales data, market conditions, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions. Develop forecasts and set sales targets in alignment with company goals. 6. Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service and support throughout the rental process. Address and resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally. 7. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Promote and uphold a culture of safety and adherence to industry best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field (preferred).Proven experience in sales management within the plant hire, construction, or related industry.Strong understanding of plant hire machinery and equipment.Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
