The Role
Reporting to the Executive Chef, we are looking for a talented Chef De Partie with a strong background in fine dining to join our renowned and Restaurant of the Year 2024 award winning UMA. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional dining experience to our guests. In this role you will:
* Ensure that foods are prepared, cooked and presented according to the menu, recipe and according to the Hotel Safe Food & Hygiene Standards
* Follow standards of presentation, quality and portion control in line with the outlets menu presentation folder, recipes and guidelines given by the chef in charge
* Prepare order lists for all food items relevant to section and monitors the quality of food items received on a daily basis
* Assist in menu development, bringing fresh ideas and contributing to the creation of innovative and seasonal dishes
* Take responsibility for a high standard of cleanliness of the immediate work area and the kitchen as a whole e.g. benches, shelves and drawers. Ensure cleaning practices are followed and comply with the Hotels Safe Food & Hygiene Standards
* Manage inventory and ensure proper stock rotation to maintain freshness and minimise wastage

About You
* Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail ensuring each dishes are presented consistently to the kitchen manuals.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* At least 1 year of working experience in a fine dining restaurant
