The Health and Safety Administration is responsible for providing administrative support to the Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Director Major Projects in the development, implementation and maintenance of health and safety programs and improvement initiatives. The role involves organising and completing documentation, scheduling meetings and training, assisting with compliance reporting and facilitating communication between management and employees on health and safety matters. This role presents a valuable opportunity for the right candidate to collaborate within a team environment and develop their skills within the High Voltage Transmission electricity industry. As Health and Safety Administration you will: Assist in the preparation, distribution, and filing of Major Project's (MP) health and safety documentation policies, procedures, and reports. Coordinate and schedule health and safety meetings, training sessions, and inspections. Support Major Projects HSE to comply with health and safety regulations by tracking deadlines and submitting required documentation. Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations. Act as a liaison between senior management and employees, ensuring that health and safety information is effectively communicated. Collect, organize, and analyze health and safety data to support management in identifying trends and areas for improvement. Assist in the MP head office reporting and documenting of workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses. Help organize and coordinate employee training programs, including scheduling sessions and tracking attendance. Provide support in reviewing and updating health and safety policies and procedures. Assist the HSE Director in identifying opportunities for improvement in health and safety practices. Skills & Experience Minimum Cert IV Health and Safety, with Business Administration certification, or a related field is preferred. Solid demonstrated administrative experience, preferably in a health and safety or related field. Understanding of health and safety regulations and practices is an asset. Strong organisation skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to consult with customers and stakeholders, both internal and external. Proficiency in the use of corporate information systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and familiarity with Share Point and database management. Advanced Excel experience and skills.
