Requirements for the role: Strong experience in architecting data analytics solutions for cloud-based as well as on-premises data analytics technologies and domains Strong experience in developing data analytics solutions for cloud-based, on-premises and hybrid domains Understand the practices and realities of security of the data analytics ecosystem and be able to design and implement security elements, including IAM, and those that pertain to the perimeter, and the nodes Strong Azure experience is essential In addition to, or as an alternative, AWS or Google Cloud Platform experience is advantageous Experience in Databricks and/or Snowflake environments is advantageous. Understand past, prevailing, and modern data analytics methodologies and practices and lead customers toward the modern methodologies and practices Hands-on development, oversight and technical leadership experience across major data analytics projects and programs are essential Strong client-facing and thought leadership experience is essential Advise, review, challenge and collaborate with groups on incumbent and new processes, approaches, and architectures Ability to continuously innovate through pragmatic and targeted R&D to stay abreast of new technologies, practices, and methodologies to respond to what the market and clients want and needs Pragmatic approach to the design and development of data governance and data analytics-related processes Guide, assist and mentor people (our technical teams and customers alike) on the architectures, solutions and processes of the solutions and ecosystem we architect, design and build Experience in producing engaging and pragmatic solution artefacts capturing patterns, data flows, processes, options and pros/cons, data models, and supporting documentation Other Requirements: A relevant tertiary qualification is highly advantageous Microsoft/AWS/ GCP certifications are highly advantageous Ability to solve client business problems using data analytic solutions Excellent English in written and verbal communication skills are a must Prior experience in client-facing roles, exceptional interpersonal & relationship building skills Prior consulting experience is highly advantageous Current police clearance or be willing to obtain one at short notice We're a collaborative bunch that loves getting together and making a positive difference across our team and clients.
