The funding that supports this project has an expected end date of 12 months from commencement.Position overviewThe Electrochemical Systems Research Group within the School of Engineering works across multiple collaborative projects, supported by the Australian Renewable Energy Agency, the Australian Research Council and industrial partners. We are seeking a Research Officer to progress pre-commercial research for several renewable fuels and decarbonisation projects.About the opportunityThis position is to provide support to a research program developing novel electrochemical systems for real-world applications. Responsibilities will include designing and developing commercial-scale prototypes and systems for multiple projects led by the group.This position requires a Chemical/Systems Design/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering background and a strong interest in renewable energies. Experience in projects on green hydrogen will be positively regarded. An entrepreneurial mindset is strongly preferred.A sound knowledge of systems modelling methodologies, simulation and prototype engineering is essential.
