As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This includes preparing reconciliations of general ledger accounts and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and university policies.
You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with university policies and financial regulations, and assist in the implementation and monitoring of internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
To be successful, you'll have:
* A degree in accounting, finance or similar discipline, or equivalent experience
* Strong knowledge of general ledger, basic accounting principles and cash management
