Senior Project Officer Certification and Standards– Position OverviewThis is a key role in the Department for Education, Children and Young People, supporting the implementation of standards and certification in senior secondary education.“The Child at the Centre” is our guiding principle. We are committed to ensuring that every child and young person in Tasmania is known, safe, well and learning.Duties:Develop and implement strategic initiatives, communications, stakeholder engagement, policy development, and project management to support standards, certification, curriculum priorities, and projects in senior secondary years.Manage the development and implementation of performance measures, outputs, and impacts associated with curriculum implementation in relevant fields.Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of strategies to meet performance measures for key actions, projects, milestones, and commitments related to curriculum implementation.Collaborate with stakeholders, including teachers, principals, and external partners, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on standards and certification matters.Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to support the implementation of standards and certification in senior secondary education.Requirements:Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment).A strong understanding of educational standards, certification, and curriculum priorities in senior secondary education.Excellent communication, project management, and interpersonal skills.Application Process:To be considered for this position, please submit your application via the Apply Now button.
