The role:
1. The Clinical Nurse Specialist - Community Rapid Response Service (CNS): is responsible for clinical leadership in the development, provision and evaluation of the Community Rapid Response Service (ComRRS) in the Launceston Community Health Nursing Service that ensures optimal patient/client/family and community outcomes, under the supervision of the Primary Health Area
Coordinator and Nurse Practitioner.

The hospital:
2. Hospital avoidance program providing high acuity care in community and residential aged care settings.
3. Nurse Practitioner led service working collaboratively with General Practitioners.
4. Small, dynamic team with broad clinical experience.
Details of Appointment
Multiple permanent, full time and part time, shift-worker positions working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 8 October 2023.
*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant
5. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary: $96,967 - $102,473 pro rata, per annum + 11% superannuation + access to salary packaging
6. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2019

7. Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
8. Current Driver’s Licence

9. Post Graduate qualification in Community Nursing/Nursing or working towards a relevant postgraduate qualification
