About the role.
* Reports to the Category Manager
* Collaborate with product managers, category leads, suppliers, procurement team, sales, planning, customer service, shipping and technical teams at Langdon
* Review of new sales orders, escalating any supply gaps, incorrect pricing, unplanned sales
* Regular review of demand, raising purchase orders and vendor liaison
* Monitor shipping schedule and escalation of any delays or issues
* Ensuring accuracy of stock available dates
* Ensure product invoices match pricing, terms and purchase order
* Engage with suppliers and stakeholders to gather documentation
* Monitor inventory levels, stock allocations, identifying expiring stock
* Support in contract negotiations and drafting of agreements.
About you.
* Ideally with experience in inventory, customer service, administration or purchasing
* Food industry experience, science degree ideal but not essential
* Intermediate Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, D365 experience beneficial
* Well-developed time management and organisational skills
* Confident to prioritise tasks
* A strong drive to succeed
* Ability to work well with and contribute to a high performing team
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
