POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
* Providing expert clinical leadership and support within the endoscopy department;
* Developing and implementing best practice protocols and guidelines;
* Facilitating staff training, mentoring, and professional development;
* Driving quality improvement initiatives and patient safety strategies;
* Ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements;
* Collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes;
* Supporting management activities, including portfolio responsibilities.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Current AHPRA registration;
* Authority to Work in Australia;
* Working with Children check (if relevant);
* Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent;
* Experience in the theatre environment (essential);
* Extensive experience in endoscopy nursing and/or gastroenterology;
* Strong knowledge of clinical governance, accreditation, and best practices;
* Previous experience in clinical education and training;
* An ability to influence at various hospital levels, plan efficiently and effectively, and show drive to achieve results;
* Outstanding relationship building and communication skills;
* Productivity in a self-directed environment;
* Ability to communicate with people on a variety of knowledge levels;
* Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement;
* Self-motivation and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team;
* Highly developed interpersonal skills.
