Whilst you will be focusing on delivering outstanding service to our customers and the market, no day will ever be the same! You'll serve customers face to face, stock shelves adequately, track customer orders and ensure the trade store is neat and tidy.
Your Key Responsibilities Provide fast-paced customer service via telephone, email, and in person in our trade storeRecommend the best products or services to match customer needsMaintain trade store presentation standards, including merchandising and restockingInform customers of new product ranges and applicable servicesUnderstand customer sales history, proactively identifying requirementsEnsure timely actioning of customer requests within allocated timeframesTake ownership in continuing and cultivating all customer interactionsPerform some warehouse duties and lifting as requiredWhat You'll Bring To The Team Customer service experience in a trade store/retail environment (desirable)Well-developed customer service skills with a 'customer first' approachConfidence and experience with computers and Microsoft suitesClear written and verbal communication skillsSelf-motivated, problem solver and time management skillsBe safety minded and promote all things safety within our branchForklift licence (desirable but not essential)Our Culture & Benefits
