We are proud of what we have achieved in growing Asian food in Australia and our continuous growth in other nations and continents such as New Zealand, Europe, Canada, Japan, and the UK.We are looking for a Quality Assurance Assistant to join our Quality Assurance team.The successful candidate will assist with and be responsible for the following duties: Responsibilities:Track and monitor the suppliers on updating of the online technical product information database and reporting of the data into the databaseCoordination and checking of QA documentation such as specifications, manufacturing process, allergen management control, etc., to food service customers and overseas marketQuality checks on frozen /shelf-stable groceries etc., testing and weight checks for seafood, non-seafood products and shelf-stable productsConduct and manage sensory evaluation on existing, new, and competitor products as well as handling customer complaint testing, which includes buying of products and/or ingredients, preparing sampling, designing questionnaires (as when required), compiling data, analyzing and reporting evaluationKeep a record of incoming and new products from suppliers and conduct labelling checks to ensure complianceAssist in product labelling to ensure they comply with ANZ food regulations.Involve in the product development work and assist in key projects on product packaging development in support of business objectiveExecute the Australian Packaging Convent project. etc., Collect APC packaging questionnaires from old/new suppliers and compile data for annual reporting.Assist in the product demonstrations and presentation to the retailers, food service, and institution as and when required. Conduct barcode scanning for new and current products as and when required.Other assigned tasks or projects as and when required.
