As a Remote Area Nurse, you will provide comprehensive, high-quality healthcare services to remote and isolated communities across the Kimberley region. This challenging and rewarding role involves working autonomously in diverse healthcare settings. Key Responsibilities: Provide primary healthcare services, including emergency care, wound management, chronic disease management, and health education. Administer immunisations and vaccinations, ensuring the community's health and wellbeing. Manage medical supplies and resources efficiently, ensuring high-quality patient care in remote locations. Work closely with local Aboriginal Health Workers and other health professionals to deliver culturally sensitive care. Respond to medical emergencies, providing advanced life support (ALS) and critical care when necessary. Essential Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in remote or rural nursing. MEC, REC and Pharmco qualifications Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification. Strong clinical skills in emergency care.
