About the role: Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, as a Registered Nurse at Laurel Hospice, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality palliative care services. Your responsibilities will include assessing patients' needs, administering medication, providing emotional support, and ensuring their comfort and dignity are maintained throughout their journey. Duties for the role will include: Optimising the patient and family experience for those receiving care in Laurel Hospice. Provide guidance to less experienced staff. Work within the multidisciplinary team to optimise clinical outcomes for patients and team efficacy. About you: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. Effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Ability to prioritise workload.
