Seeking casual employment as a Personal Support Worker and available to work a fixed fortnightly roster (across early morning, lunchtime and early evenings)A genuine, reliable worker with inherent integrity and respect for individual choice and client confidentiality.Physically capable of lifting, bending, carrying, crouching and working in confined spaces.Adaptable and sensitive to clients' different personalities, cultural backgrounds, family/house dynamics and changing support needs.Resilient in managing challenging behaviours and perform under pressure.Comfortable in assisting with personal hygiene functions.Able to follow instructions, make basic calculations, comprehend support plans and communicate clearly and professionally with both clients and staff.Role RequirementsCurrent and valid Driver's LicenceAccess to a reliable vehicleAn NDIS Workers Screening Card (Yellow Card), or willingness to applyA Working With Children Check/Blue Card, or willingness to applyNDIS Workers Orientation ModuleIt would be an advantage for you to already hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent.
While experience isn't necessary, a genuine passion for helping others is vital.
