When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities, and other stakeholders.About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage the development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of a range of strategic planning projects for the Northern Rivers with an immediate focus on the Resilient Lands Program.As the successful Manager, you will:Lead and oversee all aspects of project planning, development, and implementation while efficiently managing project teams, including internal and external project staff.Lead the implementation of priority projects under the Resilient Lands Program, including the Resilient Lands Strategy.Establish and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships.Develop and implement strategies and tools for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of projects, including risk and contingency management.About youHigh calibre candidates will have:Substantial experience managing the coordination of a portfolio of land use projects in a dynamic complex organisation.Sound experience in program and/or project management in a complex and nuanced environment and a solid understanding of how to build capability and support others in adopting project management approaches that enhance delivery of project outcomes.Experience in facilitating and supporting multi-disciplined stakeholders.Openness in learning and establishing new systems and processes, supported by a solid attention to detail.Joining our team with a rewarding job in a community-driven agency is just the start.
