About the role
As a Teaching Focused Academic (60% Teaching; 30% Service; 10% Scholarship) you will contribute to the innovation of learning, teaching and assessment within UNE's postgraduate professional psychology programs.
A key part of the role within the Clinical Psychology Program would be as the Unit Coordinator of postgraduate units delivered online.
The successful applicant will teach into other units in the program in their areas of expertise, supervise students (e.g., honours, PhD), and undertake other roles as needed to support the postgraduate programs in their growth initiatives.
About you (Selection Criteria)
The successful applicant will have a PhD in Psychology; Evidence of teaching ability; Registered as a Psychologist in Australia; hold or be eligible for Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology; hold or be eligible for Psychology Board of Australia Approved Supervisor status; Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work harmoniously in a team; Experienced clinical psychology practitioner and supervisor of provisional psychologists; Research capability to effectively supervise psychology Honours and higher degree students.
