Job Title: Telemetry Instrumentation Technical Officer
Range of $84,727 to $98,467 + Super + Benefits

To help us achieve this, we are seeking an experienced Telemetry Instrumentation Technical Officer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and overseeing team activities, ensuring the reliability of electronic instrumentation and automation systems for Water, Wastewater, and Council facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and schedule daily preventive maintenance and breakdown repair taskings of the Telemetry Instrumentation staff and/or contractors, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime.
* Provide supervision and technical advice for the installation, maintenance, and repair of telemetry instrumentation, sharing your expertise with the team to guarantee top-quality results.
* Identify and lead telemetry instrumentation upgrade projects to assist Community Utilities asset operational programs in accordance with schedule and budget, demonstrating your ability to work efficiently and effectively.
* Manage and maintain instrumentation asset and maintenance databases, contributing to a well-organized and streamlined workflow.
* Develop and review safe work method statements and risk assessments, and implement safety strategies to promote a secure working environment for all team members.
Remuneration and Benefits:
* Employment type: Permanent, full-time role (38 hours per week with 9-day fortnight)
* Salary (exclusive of super): In the range of $84,727.68 to $98,467.31 depending on skills and experience.
* This role also qualifies for a Tool of Trade Vehicle.

As part of the Operations group, the Engineering Trade Services team also works on all our electrical, mechanical, and telemetry infrastructure, as well as designing and developing electrical equipment, instrumentation interfacing, and associated control systems.
