INJURY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST/S | CHARLESTOWN NSW | PERMANENT ROLE
You'll be responsible for
1. Collaborating with claims operations and treatment providers to develop strategies for reducing the human and financial costs to Allianz through structured injury management practices
2. Establishing and maintaining provider management strategies and relationships to enable support to the business
3. Implementing injury management strategies within team and business units to ensure the continuous improvement of return to health and work oues
4. Designing and facilitating training sessions
5. Building capability by coaching and mentoring teams on injury management methodology to reduce the duration / cost of claims and assist Technical Specialists and Team Managers to provide team support and assistance in medical and injury management.
About you
6. Extensive experience in injury management relating to occupational rehabilitation, claims management and/or return to work
7. Tertiary qualifications in allied health (OT, physio, exercise physiology, nursing, psychology or other allied health field)
8. Understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislativepliance requirements that impact the organisation
9. Coaching and mentoring experience
10. Demonstrated understanding of strategy development and able to work with multiple teams to align department strategy with organisational vision
11. Living in Newcastle, Maitland and/or Hunter area (NSW)
