The Role: Sales Support / E-commerce – IT Data Center Hardware Solutions
Are you passionate about e-commerce and eager to drive innovation? We would like a proactive team member to modernize and enhance our existing systems. In this role, you'll oversee sales administration, manage ordering processes, and handle customer inquiries while playing a key part in optimizing our e-commerce operations. Reporting directly to management is an exciting opportunity to grow your skills, make an impact, and advance your career in the fast-evolving IT data center solutions world.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* Track sales shipment, delivery, and backlog activities, providing internal sales reports when necessary.
* Develop and retain strong working relationships with customers' operational teams to maximize sales, growth, and profitability.
* Respond to inquiries regarding the status of orders and resolve customer order difficulties.
* Answer inbound calls in a timely, professional manner.
* Respond to all customer queries regarding PODs, ETAs, invoice copies, or general inquiries.
* Check and ensure dispatch of priority orders.
* Review back orders and liaise with customers if required.
* Liaise, verify, and process customer returns (RMA) within required timeframes.
* Consistently meet and exceed company/business unit KPIs/targets.
* Generate periodic reports for Sales Support and/or management.
* Manage day-to-day operation of the e-commerce platform.
* Attract new customers through digital marketing.
* Develop and execute strategies to boost online sales.
* Maintain the product catalogue with accurate pricing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes Required:
* Ability to organize and prioritize with strong attention to detail.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Taking the initiative, self-motivated, creative with a positive attitude.
* Demonstrated work experience as a Sales Support or E-commerce Manager.
* Professional presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Proficient at Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365.
* Must be adaptable and able to deal with ever-changing conditions in a fast-paced environment consistently.
