UGL is seeking interest from qualified Painter / Blaster’s to join our team onsite at Curtis Island, Gladstone. We are looking for candidates who are available immediately with ongoing work available. This role is suitable for locals or those who can DIDO.
About You
* Previous experience in an Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical or continuous processing plant.
* Exposure to working in tanks, confined spaces, and piping will be highly regarded.
* Certificate III in Surface Preparation Coating Application.
* Highly experienced Painter Blaster.
* Maintaining a safe work environment by identifying hazards and safety awareness.
* Coating preparation and blasting work.
* Paint application to the highest standards.
* Ensure equipment is well maintained.
* Work to a high standard and be passionate about what you do.
* Demonstrated Leadership Qualities in the application of Safe Systems of Work.
* Confined Space Entry (Desirable).
* Work at Heights (Desirable).
