Job Posting End Date April 28, 2025 Job Location Irymple Job Description What’s on offer? We are seeking a Foreman to lead our Mildura asphalting crew. Working in the far north-western corner of Victoria, this fantastic job opportunity will see you grow and develop a team across a wide range of projects. You will be working for an established and well supported infrastructure services business to deliver asphalting and similar industry works in and around the Mildura region. You will have full project oversight for ensuring safety, cost, quality and time targets are met. You will oversee the subcontractor’s deliverables and report to senior management on the performance of your scope of works. We will look to you to: Deliver projects in accordance with contractual obligations and company policies/procedures; Develop and maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholders; Lead & support a culture of Living Safely and oversee HSEQ compliance; Coordinate, plan and organize plant, labour, sub-contractors and suppliers as required for projects. Clearly communicate objectives to your crew and follow up to ensure all expectations are being met How you’ll connect to the role: The ideal candidate will be someone who has significant asphalt laying experience and a strong interest in leadership. This opportunity could be well suited to someone who already has experience in leading teams or could be the perfect fit for someone looking to take the next step in their career. We will be looking for: Prior experience in asphalt laying works Plant operation experience Someone willing to take on a challenge and learn new skills A strong work ethic and interest in helping grow the business An ability to work away from home when required and a willingness to undertake over-time/weekend work/night shift work.
