DescriptionCustomer Service Advisor - EmeraldWe are looking for a talented Service Advisor to join our high performing team in Emerald, QLD.In this role, you will provide routine support to customers, including end-users, distributors, and/or dealers, seeking information through various mediums, under minimal supervision.This is a mining specific advisor role; you will be looking after customers in the southern and northern Bowen basin.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Plan jobs and create work orders, book in vehicles for service & check parts, administer invoices & accountsServe as first point of contact with customers to promote quality customer service and assist with increasing business within the Emerald branchDeal with technical queries from customers and develop positive relationshipsConsistently liaise with the customer to keep them updated with progressFollow procedures and document required information in the service management system to have an accurate record of the work completedLiaise with internal stakeholders – (mainly technicians and parts department) to ensure a smooth process from beginning to endResponsibilitiesTo be successful in this role you will need the following:An understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable is highly desirable as well as familiarity with financial processes / accounts and purchase ordersDemonstrated technical experience specific to Cummins or similar industryWorld class communication skills – both written and verbal with solid IT capabilitiesExperience of delivering first class customer service from an automotive or warranty backgroundDemonstrated mechanical technical experience in a similar industry or OEM is advantageousAt Cummins, we are an equal opportunity employer dedicated to diversity in the workplace.
