About the Role Based on-site in Shepparton, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for overseeing and directing the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, and providing strategic financial leadership to support our growth and objectives. The CFO collaborates closely with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies, optimize resource allocation, and drive business performance to support the functions that ultimately result in the delivery of quality services to enrich the lives of those we support and care for. About you: You will be an effective leader and team member who will: Work collaboratively with others to achieve our organisational goals Assist and support colleagues in a manner that is empowering Foster professional development and ensure the team has the appropriate skills and resources required to succeed Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders Provide strategic and operational leadership The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor’s degree in business or commerce Current certification as a Certified Practicing Accountant or Chartered Accountant Experience in setting priorities, managing resources, and assessing performance to drive business growth and efficiencies Proficiency in preparing and interpreting financial data, statements and reports, with a focus on transparency, accuracy and financial compliance Proficiency in developing and managing budgets, forecasting, and financial analysis (experience in healthcare or aged care context desirable) Understanding of organisational governance, including risk management Benefits & Culture We value our team and the wonderful work they do.
