Heidelberg Materials are now recruiting for a Quarry Supervisor to join the team at Clarence Quarry, located around 20 minutes outside of Lithgow in the NSW Blue Mountains.
Reporting to the Quarry Manager, this full-time role will be multi-faceted, responsible for supervising quarry operations with a focus on production enhancement and improvement.
In your new role, you will be:
1. Supervising the day-to-day production operations and making decisions that impact the overall performance of the business
2. Managing people while bringing your team along the journey to successfully achieve goals
3. Bringing a strong safety mindset and manage high risk activities and reduce risk exposure for self and others
This role is a great fit for you, if you:
1. Have coached and developed your team with a focus on production enhancement and improvement
2. Supervisory experience in the aggregates industry will be highly regarded
3. Hold a Diploma in Surface Operations Management will be advantageous
4. Are results focused, self-motivated and have a total commitment to risk management and Zero Harm
5. Have a passion for delivering remarkable customer service and great results
6. Are a team player who can multi-task and make quick effective decisions under pressure
7. A positive presence in building strong and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
8. Are a natural problem solver and enjoy planning
