Talent International is currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to work for an NSW Government client based in Maroubra. This is contract role initially 3 months contract with the view to be extended. The role is paying p/h + Super.
7 hours per day / 35 hours per week
Primary purpose of the role
1. Provide a range of routine administrative services to facilitate the smooth operation of the team/unit.
Key accountabilities
2. Provide a range of routine administrative activities to contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the team/unit that support delivery of services to clients/customers.
3. Process business information and contribute to the maintenance of administrative systems to ensure the flow of information is in accordance with standards and guidelines.
4. Use relevant technology to prepare documentation and presentation material to support business unit managers and directors.
5. Support the use of business unit filing systems in accordance with standards and guidelines, by creating, storing, retrieving and tracking files to ensure the accurate and safe storage of information.
6. Work and maintain regular contact with other business areas to effectively arrange meetings and manage the flow of business information.
7. Provide reception duties as necessary, respond to enquiries and escalate issues appropriately to ensure queries are responded to in a timely manner.
