With a strong reputation for efficiency and innovation, they are seeking a skilled Supply and Production Planner to join their team and play a pivotal role in supporting production excellence.Short DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supply and Production Planner to develop and maintain a Master Production Schedule that drives efficiency, meets customer service levels, and aligns with broader supply chain objectives. The role requires strong leadership and technical expertise in scheduling, planning, and ERP systems.The RoleYou will be responsible for managing the production scheduling across key plants, ensuring that operations run smoothly, on time, and to the highest standards. Based in Dandenong, Melbourne, this role will drive the rolling Master Production Schedule (MPS), coordinating with site and materials planners to align production with component availability, capacity, and customer demand. The Master Scheduler will lead weekly MPS meetings, support the S&OP process, and identify areas for improvement in SAP and scheduling processes to enhance efficiency and meet customer satisfaction goals.Responsibilities include:Developing and maintaining a Master Production Schedule aligned with customer service expectations.Ensuring stock levels meet company policies while minimizing supply chain disruptions.Leading the weekly MPS sign-off meetings for designated sites and collaborating with planners and other stakeholders to ensure operational readiness.Supporting monthly S&OP processes, providing data, and aligning production to meet long-term objectives.Managing inventory profiles and ensuring data accuracy within SAP to uphold planning integrity.Key SkillsA degree in engineering, business management, or a related discipline.APICS CPIM certification.At least five years of experience in multi-site production scheduling within manufacturing or industrial environments.Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems, with a high level of knowledge in S&OP and MRP II concepts.Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, along with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.More InformationFor a brief, confidential discussion about this role or your next career move, please contact Kevin McCormack on 0431 671 023 or Kevin@millerleith.com.au.Your application will include the following questions:What's your expected annual base salary?How many years experience do you have in production/supply planning?Have you led a team before?
