Design, review and deliver competency-based training and assessment programs, and provide support and coaching to staff and volunteer trainers/assessors.Salary: 92,332 to 104,762 + 15% Commuted Allowance + 11.5% SuperEmployment Type: Ongoing, Full TimeOpportunity: Opportunity to travel Victoria and deliver unique training to dedicated volunteers.ROLE SUMMARY:The Operations Officer – Leader Trainer (OO-LT) is responsible for the design, review, implementation, and delivery of competency-based training and assessment programs & skills maintenance activities.The OO-LT provides support and coaching to casual and volunteer trainers/assessors, monitors the performance of contracted training providers, and maintains volunteer training and assessment records to ensure compliance with VICSES Registered Training Organisation (RTO) standards and VICSES Health and Safety standards.Relocation assistance and/or support to obtain a Certificate IV Training and Assessment may be offered for the successful candidate.This role will actively undertake operational command and control functions during specific local, regional, and/or state-wide operations, performing the Regional Duty Officer function and/or Incident Management Team (IMT) role by maintaining appropriate accreditation, ensuring the appropriate advice, support, and allocation of resources for emergency readiness and response.WHO WE ARE:Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) is a volunteer-based emergency service.
