Tasks & Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook and present dishes according to the menu and customer preferences
* Create new recipes and estimate food and labor requirements
* Design seasonal menus that align with the Club's marketing strategy and goals
* Regularly refresh menu offerings to provide outstanding experiences for corporate events, weddings, birthdays, and special occasions
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
* Ensure proper food handling and storage in compliance with safety standards
* Supervise food plating and garnishing to ensure consistency and visual appeal
* Lead and train kitchen staff, promoting a positive team culture
* Collaborate with the restaurant and operations managers, as well as front-of-house staff, to ensure a high-quality guest experience
* Prepare food to accommodate special dietary needs
* Oversee stock control and inventory management
Qualification & Experience
* Holds a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
* Strong culinary skills and creativity
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Minimum 2 years of proven experience working as a Chef
