Job Title: Speech Pathologist - Cairns
Practice Information:
Provider of multidisciplinary Allied Health services largely to participants of the NDIS.
The role functions in a close working relationship with other team members to actively contribute to the achievement of this practice's strategic goals and objectives that include increased access to comprehensive face-to-face and virtual allied health care and improved health outcomes for First Nations people.
Position Description:
This role is an ideal opportunity for a graduate or early career professional as it encompasses participation in the AHRG pathway.
Depending on your experience, you will be funded to complete the Level 1 or Level 2 (Graduate Diploma) education with James Cook University.
Through this work-integrated learning program, you will be provided with time at work for study, dedicated structured supervision and support, and a unique opportunity to work with our multidisciplinary team contributing to a service development project.
You will:
Enjoy a diverse caseload working in clinical and community settings, both locally and on outreach to rural and remote communities.
Work within a multidisciplinary team of health professionals and administrative support.
Work for an organisation with an innovative values-driven approach, using current and emerging technologies.
Qualifications & Experience:
Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
Salary Information:
$90,000-$110,000 per annum.
Other Benefits:
Funded JCU training through AHRG pathway.
0.1 FTE allocated for study.
Superannuation 10.5%.
