Business Development Manager Role Overview
Schneider Electric is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in Western Australia through Recurring and Renewal Contracts.
The Opportunity
We are expanding our Services team to serve Schneider Electric’s installed base customers across various segments, including hospitals, utilities, data centres, and more.
With a diverse product range, we enable owners, end users, and custodians to minimize breakdowns, increase reliability, efficiency, and safety while reducing costs and simplifying operations.
This new role will focus on leveraging technical knowledge and experience to grow Services annual revenue via contractual services arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
* Leverage technical knowledge and experience to grow Services annual revenue via contractual services arrangements
* Partner with Marketing to define strategies and roadmaps to achieve business objectives
* Take a proactive approach to secure opportunities and achieve high conversion rates
* Stay informed and networked across go-to-market channels
* Support the promotion and deployment of new solutions within growing segments
* Collaborate across a complex range of local and regional stakeholders
Ideal Candidate Profile
We seek a candidate with:
* Proven Technical Sales background coupled with experience in a similar position (Account Manager or Business Development Manager)
* Strong communication skills, focused on relationships and confident in presenting with impact
* Proven ability to navigate the complexities of a truly global organisation
* Consultative style, experienced in selling to a diverse range of Customers and a true growth focus
* Digital mindset with proven skills in MS Office and previous experience in utilising a CRM
