First Aid Officer / Administrative Assistant
This is a part-time position working in a school environment. The role involves providing first aid care to students and staff, as well as performing administrative tasks.
Duties:
* Provide first aid care to sick or injured students/staff and contact relevant emergency contacts as required.
* Utilise software to record details of first aid attendances and parent communications.
* Administer medications as per medical plans and maintain accurate records.
* Ensure student medical alerts are up to date and communicate effectively to staff.
* Maintain record keeping and documentation of student medical plans.
* Liaise with families to maintain/update student medical plans and medication.
* Attend to parent and staff enquiries and provide support in the areas of first aid matters.
* Liaise with colleagues to support the efficient operation of day-to-day activities.
* Manage first aid supplies including first aid kit management.
* Support the wellbeing coordinator.
* Participate in First Aid training and professional development.
* Perform other duties relevant to the area of responsibility as requested by the Business Manager, Office Manager or Principal Class.

Working Conditions:
The position will involve working in a school environment with occasional use of software and equipment. The employee will be required to participate in First Aid training and professional development.
