The role you're doing Reporting to the Head of Planning and Reporting, you're responsible for the Group's financial planning and forecasting at the Board and Executive Level. You'll manage a team of 2 and sit on the Planning and Reporting leadership team. This is a 15-month fixed term contract. In this role you will be Indirectly managing and working closely with the various Finance, Actuarial and Group Strategy teams to deliver strategic and financial planning and forecasting support to facilitate the achievement of Medibank's business strategies. Managing and coordinating the annual Corporate Plan and regular forecasting processes by owning and driving the delivery of the inputs, outputs and outcomes required at each stage by ensuring operating rhythm is clearly understood and owned by all stakeholders. Managing ongoing and any ad-hoc performance management analysis conducted by the planning and performance team. Manage the costing allocations refresh process and ongoing implementation of deeper costing analysis. What we're looking for 8+ years financial advisory experience. Appropriate tertiary qualification in accounting or related are required, and CA or CPA qualified. Experience gained from a Chartered (CA) environment an advantage. Very strong attention to detail coupled with the ability to balance against strategic objectives. Organised, ability to multi-task and balance work at both a strategic and tactical level. Project management skills required to effectively manage the activities of a cross functional unit. Able to proactively identify and resolve problems and implementation barriers. Strong analytical skills, business judgment and commercial acumen. Achievement oriented, well disciplined, task focussed with strong sense of timeliness. Ability to retain confidentiality of commercially sensitive information. Prior experience in leading and developing teams.
