Chemist Warehouse continues to deliver on an ambitious growth plan which has seen the expansion of operations into China, Ireland, New Zealand and many more exciting new developments to come!Our Field Services team is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Field Services Technician to join us in Victoria!About the roleThe Senior Field Services Technician’s role is to execute the onsite IT field service tasks for our CW Retail store projects and developments, as well as provide remote and onsite IT support, maintenance, and audits as part of your day-to-day tasks to our staff, stores, offices, and distribution centers throughout Victoria.As the senior technician, you will work with the store development team, business stakeholders and third-party vendors to assist with the implementation and setup of stores. You will also be assigned to respond and resolve ticket escalations that will require your extra level of expertise remotely, onsite and via your coordination of vendor support to restore the customers systems and services back to their production operational state within agreed time frames, or determine a work-around that allow the customer to continuing trading.Role ResponsibilitiesInstalling and testing all IT devices onsite for store developments and IT projects on time and in fullRegularly scheduling onsite visits to audit the stores IT environmentMaintaining the IT environment at stores by cleaning, standardizing, and optimizing the hardwarePerforming onsite analysis, diagnosis and resolution for IT incidents that require an onsite presenceRemove and replace IT devices as part of life cycle management, sites expansions or relocationsEnsuring our customers are satisfied that their IT devices are operating as expectedCreating and maintaining documented procedures for your project and daily tasksAssisting third-party technicians with executing their IT tasksMaintain provided tools required and report on any damages or lossesAssist in the preparation and implementation of existing and new storesMaintaining and creating “Knowledge Base” documents to capture relative informationAbout YouPrevious experience as an IT Field Services Technician or an IT Service Desk positionExcellent communication and listening skillsExcellent technical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to understand requirements and documentation proceduresAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Information TechnologyIndustries: Retail
