Purpose of Job and General Duties:
You will be part of our engineering team, developing electronic hardware products for rugged automotive and recreational applications.
Our products enhance customer experiences in off-roading and camping lifestyles.
As an engineer, you'll participate in all stages of new product development, from research to mass manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with engineers to determine product architecture and hardware/firmware partitioning.
* Evaluate design delivery effort and adhere to REDARC best practices.
* Design with version control, bug tracking, and document deliverables, including schematics.
* Reuse proven modules where available and suitable, simulating/prototyping to optimize designs.
* Facilitate frequent reviews of designs, testing, evaluating, and verifying performance.
* Ensure implementation verification against specification and compliance with relevant standards.
Requirements:
* Associate diploma or degree in electronics engineering (or equivalent field) with at least 5 years' experience.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including cross-functional teams.
* Comfort with hands-on approach, eagerness to learn, diverse range of electronics skills, initiative, accuracy in following procedures, and experience in electronic product fault finding.
* Proficiency in MS Office and CAD packages, particularly Altium.
* Self-motivation and ability to prioritize workload.
