Current office hours are: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am - 2:30pm and Wednesday’s 4pm – 5:30pm during Sailing Season (October to April).
With potential for additional shifts to cover staff leave periods in other function and bar related roles.
Award Level 3 Clerical - MA000058 Registered and Licensed Clubs Award 2020 - (reviewed after 3 month's probation)
Key Responsibilities:
Office Administration:
* Telephone/email enquiries from members and non-members
* Respond and advise members of rules and regulations regarding club activities.
* Assist with website maintenance and supporting newsletter production
* Oversee bar operations; purchases, maintain register and reconcile sales
* Coordinate with the Function Coordinator
* Monitor cleaners
* Payroll
* Purchases
* Accounts payable / receivable
* Creditors’ payment and management
* Superannuation payments
Reporting:
* Weekly bar sales
* Reports for monthly Committee Meetings
* End of Year reporting and Audit requirements
* Reports for the Annual General meeting
* Point of Sale: setup, data entry, reporting and maintenance
An ideal candidate will:
* Have previous experience in Office Administration and bookkeeping (Microsoft products/POS software/Bookkeeping software)
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
* Flexibility and a willingness to learn new systems and processes
* Ability to work independently but also to collaborate as part of a team
