McArthur has exciting opportunities for experienced Aged Care Comprehensive/Clinical Assessors working in a locum capacity with an organisation dedicated to providing high-quality assessment services for older adults and people living with disabilities.
About Our Client
Our client is a prominent provider of assessment services focused on ensuring that older Australians receive the support they need to live independently while retaining and maximising their functional capabilities. They work closely with clients, service providers, and external stakeholders to facilitate referrals to essential services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Facilitate timely client-centred assessments enhancing independence and quality of life for older Australians.
2. Engage with families and carers as key stakeholders throughout the assessment process.
3. Monitor and manage assessment schedules ensuring assessments are completed by due date and in line with Department of Health requirements.
4. Collaborate with team members and participate in continuous improvement activities ensuring exceptional service delivery.
5. Ensure client satisfaction providing excellent service demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
Requirements
1. Tertiary qualification in Nursing Occupational Therapy Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration or Social Worker with AASW eligibility.
2. MUST have minimum 1 year's recent experience working in RAS or ACAT and hold SOA4 other MACLearning Modules desirable.
3. Demonstrated ability to conduct client assessments providing high-quality service delivery.
4. Strong communication skills both written and oral with clients stakeholders and colleagues.
5. Valid Australian driver's license comprehensively insured vehicle for travel requirements.
6. Understanding of the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) or Home Care Packages.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills engaging influencing and building rapport with clients and teams.
8. Able to work at least 3 days per week.
