The Facility:
This is a 300-bed Tertiary Facility that provides acute care facilities and treats over 24,000 inpatients and over 225,000 outpatients annually. The Emergency Department provides a 24 hour, 7 day a week emergency medical care service. It is the only major emergency department in the North of the State. Specialist emergency physicians are always on duty on weekdays, most weekends and most evenings. An emergency physician is on-call 24 hours a day for major trauma and critically ill medical cases. The department is recognized for advanced training of emergency physicians.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the ED Director you will be responsible for the assessment and management of acute patients with the ED. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the ED Director who will assist and support you to develop your overall emergency medicine expertise.
Your Profile:
