You will work closely with the Director of CityLab and key stakeholders across the organisation, taking both a strategic and hands-on approach to successfully deliver change initiatives.At CityLab, we embrace a fresh perspective on change management, with a strong emphasis on human-centred change. Our focus is on ensuring that people are at the heart of every transformation process, fostering positive outcomes for both the organisation and its employees.This pivotal role involves leading a dedicated team of four professionals to execute large-scale change initiatives across the organisation. You'll collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, driving alignment and ensuring initiatives are well supported. As the Head of Enterprise Change, you will provide visionary leadership and direction to your team, helping to shape the future of change management at the City of Melbourne.You will…All CoM employees will demonstrate an ability to demonstrate and display City of Melbourne Values – integrity, courage, accountability, respect and excellence.Your responsibilities will include:Lead the enterprise change team to embed change management practices, enhancing quality, consistency, and change maturity across the organisation.Monitor and analyse change initiatives, providing leadership with data-driven insights to inform decisions on workload, timing, and resourcing.Provide strategic change advice to business owners and sponsors, supporting the adoption of changes, aligning vision, and integrating change management into project plans.Define success metrics, monitor progress across initiatives, and report regularly on delivery, tracking overall change maturity.Provide leadership and support to executive sponsors and senior leaders, helping them act as effective change advocates.Partner with internal communications to ensure consistent change messaging and develop a unified approach to governance and delivery.Drive business flexibility and employee engagement by developing change competency in leaders and staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Inspire and lead a high-performing, dynamic team, promoting innovation and staying current with trends to support organisational growth.In order to be successful, you will possess the following:Extensive experience delivering large-scale enterprise change in complex environments, leading teams to drive business transformation.In-depth knowledge of enterprise change management principles, methodologies, and relevant technologies.Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to inspire teams and manage cross-functional work to deliver complex programs.Strong business acumen and ability to secure senior stakeholder buy-in for strategic initiatives across diverse groups.Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting updates and engaging stakeholders at all levels.Solid understanding of budgeting and project management, ensuring resources are effectively managed to meet deadlines and budgets.Passion for innovation and continuous improvement to support organizational growth.How to applyThis is a fantastic and dynamic opportunity to build on the career you have developed to date and become an integral part of the vibrant energy that defines Melbourne city.
