These roles will support successful delivery of the Logan & Gold Coast Faster Rail project using High Voltage (HV) Electrical systems technologies ensuring effective engineering capability and efficient delivery processes.About the role:Design acceptance, from internal and external sources, for Networks HV electrical works, assets and lighting requirements in electrified and non-electrified environments.Leadership in appointing external consultants and contractors to undertake HV electrical work, distribution, assets, equipment and lighting.Lead, develop and implement an effective strategy for HV Systems Engineering.Support the development, delivery and maintenance of the HV Systems Strategy for Network.What we are looking for:High level of skill in leading a professional, client and business focussed engineering strategy.High level of communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.High level of skill in the field of rail systems infrastructure, including managing flexibility in response to changes in industry environment.High level of skill in the application of and ensuring compliance with Legislation, Regulations and Practices in regard to safety, environment, contract processes and employment in a commercially focussed business.Extensive knowledge of low voltage/high voltage design parameters, legislative requirements and industry practice and of interface criteria for low voltage/high voltage installations in an electrified traction environment.Sound knowledge of traction distribution and power systems technologies applicable to a large transport and logistics based organisation.Electrical Engineering Degree.To read the position description click HERESounds great, what's next?If this position interests you and you feel you have the knowledge and experience, please apply via our website by clicking onto the "Apply" button.
