Position Overview The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - Primary Health North provides effective leadership and management in a complex multidisciplinary environment to achieve the defined clinical objectives of district hospital services within the THS - North region. As a member of the Leadership team, the Assistant Director of Nursing - Primary Health North (PHN) will: Provide a high level of operational and professional leadership and direction, ensuring resources are effectively utilized and the highest standards of service delivery are maintained in accordance with the THS – North policy directions, service standards, and financial performance targets. Ensure effective professional governance and partnerships, quality training and practice development, and collaboratively progress and maximize strategic nursing initiatives including the development of a sustainable workforce to achieve nursing excellence and ensure a sustainable nursing service for our community. Provide the Nursing Director – PHN with high-level quality advice and support. Details of Appointment Permanent, full-time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible. Notwithstanding, hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary: $145,444 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible. Payment of $15,000 staged over three years is available for Nurses and Midwives who move to Tasmania from interstate and remain employed full-time for three years or more, on top of relocation allowance already available (subject to approval). Minimum Requirements Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse. Current Driver's Licence.
