The System Assurance Manager will ensure that the safety, systems and security assurance processes are effectively implemented and followed during the D&C phase.
Responsibilities:
General:
Support the processes (safety, security and systems assurance) defined by RDWSA.
Support the risk and hazard management processes.
Contribute to the management plan production.
Contribute to the configuration management.
Contribute to and support the Documentation Management System architecture, implementation and management.
Safety:
Contribute to the requirements management process.
Contribute in the Verification and Validation process (gate reviews, production, milestones, evidences, etc.) defined by D&C.
Review the System Safety Assurance Plan.
Review and assess the preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA) and SHL (System Hazard Log) at system level.
Review and assess the Sub System Hazard Identification (SSHI), Sub-System Hazard Analysis (SSHA), and Sub System Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA).
Review and assess the exported constraints to the operator.
Participate in the hazard and risk review processes as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Human Factor:
Contribute, engage and participate in the human factors review process.
Contribute to ergonomic assessments and review with assistance from the SME (operation maintenance).
RAM:
Review the mission profile included parameters like technical versus non-technical used for the baseline of the system.
Review the RAM methodology used by D&C.
Control and monitor the asset data register (to define the installed assets baseline).
Define control and monitor the Life Cycle Cost.
Follow-up assess the development of the RAM studies and KPI simulation.
Review the outcomes of the RAM Reports with focus on System Failure performance, MTBF (asset performance) and MTTR (Time to restore the function/Service).
Contribute for the SPMS development (functional) and Operation simulation in terms of data entries, format, interfaces and source of truth.
Review, control and challenge the methodology used and reports for tool calculation.
Review and assess the performance demonstration methodology.
