Reporting to the Sales Manager, the position of full-time Sales Person / Field Marketer is based at any branch (Gilgandra / Narromine preferred) with regular travel between branches and on farm / site to customers.
About the Job Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers in the agricultural and / or construction industry, accurately qualifying their equipment needs for the future. Actively source new customers and generate leads using our CRM. Proactively make phone calls and coordinate customer visits. Actively promote and sell our range of agricultural and construction products. Assist with product demonstrations. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely manner. Manage a sales territory, ensuring all customers are serviced effectively and efficiently. Meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and products. Collaborate with the sales / marketing team to create promotional strategies. About You You have a balanced mix of sales acumen, service, and business ethics to seek out and close sales deals. You present in a professional manner and go above and beyond to offer exemplary service. You have a proven track record in sales and understand the industries of agriculture, construction and civil works, their practices, and culture therein. You demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills and time management skills. Qualifications and Experience Proven experience in agricultural and / or construction sales or a related field. Strong understanding of agricultural and / or construction products and industry needs. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory. Strong customer service skills and a proactive attitude. Knowledge of local agricultural practices and markets is a plus. All applicants must have full working rights for Australia.
