Join a global iconic brand and play a vital role in shaping the future of food!We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer for our Smithton site in Tasmania.In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing capital improvement projects, ensuring they align with our commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability.Key Responsibilities:Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects, including equipment installations, process improvements, and facility expansions.Utilize your understanding of the site's 5-year capital expenditure planning, focusing on safety enhancements and technology innovations.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, scope, and deliverables.Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, while monitoring progress throughout the project lifecycle.Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and recommend mitigation strategies.Supervise and provide technical guidance to project teams, ensuring compliance with specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations. About You:3+ years of experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.Proficient in computer literacy and data analysis.Experience in lean manufacturing methodologies, including TPM, Six Sigma, and MDI.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Strong skills in contractor management, high-risk work management, and budget oversight.Confident in engaging with team members at all levels.
