It is our mission to contribute to the lives of our customers, employees, suppliers, and the communities we serve, in a cooperative and sustainable manner.Job Title:AUS Packaging OperatorDepartment:NSW PackagingBusiness Unit:Factors Group AustraliaReports to:AUS Director, OperationsLocation:Sydney, NSW, AustraliaSchedule:Monday to Friday, 7:00am- 3:30pm flexible as requiredPay Schedule:HourlyJob Summary:The Packaging Operator packages finished products in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) regulations, while considering the company's commitment to our seven Core Values such as Sustainability in the planning and implementation of all actions related to your area of responsibility.Job Responsibilities:Cleaning and sanitizing machines and work areasEquipment adjustments to set equipment to meet specified quantity on work orderChanging equipment and machine parts as neededPrepare packaging line for operation by filling equipment with product and bottlesEnsure caps, seals, labels, lot number and expiry date are correctPeriodically check bottle weights and make adjustments where requiredPackaging bottles in boxes and labeling boxesAssemble boxes and traysAccurately complete all necessary paperworkFollow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)Strictly adhere to and observe all safety policies as outlined in the company policies and training sessionsOther duties as assignedRequirements:TechnicalHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong command of the English language; this includes understanding all written and verbal communication and the ability to communicate backMechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot and perform machinery maintenanceBasic math skills and the ability to operate a computer and programsPhysically capable of standing for an entire shift excluding breaksPhysically capable of lifting up to 15kg and bending numerous times throughout a shiftThe ability to multitask while maintaining excellent attention to detailOrganized along with strong record management and inventory skillsKnowledge of regulations and procedures of production lines and productPrevious experience working with SYSPRO and SharePoint considered an assetPrevious packaging experience and knowledge of cGMP considered an assetAttributesAbility to work in a team environment is essentialAbility to work effectively to meet deadlinesPositive attitude; adaptable to changeRespect for authority and company policySafety consciousThis position is open to all qualified applicants who are legally entitled to work in the country in which this job is located.
