Reporting to: Manager Community Health Services Type/Work Pattern: Fixed term contract - 3 months. Normal hours, Mon-Fri and open to a 4 day week. Potential to transition to Permanent.Must have: Registered Nurse in Aged Care or experience ANUM/NUM in Acute settings With unrestricted AHPRA, Current Drivers License Registration, Work With Vulnerable People in Tasmania Satisfactory National Police Check This position requires intrastate travel Working rights: Full working rights in Australia. This role is not for visa sponsorship Duties/Responsibilities: Oversee clinical programs, providing frameworks, leadership, and support to the team Provide primary clinical and operational support to nurses for client related issues, questions, concerns Lead regular high-value clinical team meetings Ensure care provided within the clinical programs meets best practice standards and is in line with policies and procedures Conduct routine nursing observations of direct reports in line with policies and procedures Generate reporting in line with program requirements Use data to monitor and enhance program efficiencies and value-based outcomes Lead consistency and accountability throughout the clinical team by setting clear direction and performance expectations to ensure team KPls are met Oversight and quality improvement including but not limited to file auditing and ensuring the team are operating within policies and procedures relating to operational performance and improvement Collaborate with the MCHS to develop key performance metrics and conduct annual performance development reviews of direct reports Lead the training and supervision of new Nurse Case Managers, providing training on utilising the online training platform as well and face to face training and supervision. Maintain regular and high value 1:1 meetings with direct reports Assist the MCHS in recruitment of staff Manage conflict and grievances in a timely and respectful manner, with the support of People & Culture, and in accordance with Salveo Healthcare, Managing Workplace Behaviour Policy.
