THE OPPORTUNITY
Assist with the coordination of the Skin and Hides Strategy, meeting the current and future requirements for KGF AU, whilst maximising profit opportunities.
Location: Kyneton, Victoria
Monday - Friday Afternoon Shift, 2pm start time
ABOUT YOU
YOUR RESPONSILBITIES
1. Regularly review all stock and produce tender descriptions
Conduct skin tenders ensuring skin prices are maximised
Manage sleeving staff to ensure satisfactory completion of role
Conduct daily skin reviews and report to appropriate department heads
Work with Production Manager and Supervisors to ensure a high standard of skin take off is achieved consistently
Arrange skin and hide transport daily to ensure integrity of product whilst maximising the cost of transport
Accurate and timely completion of associated paperwork
Maintain integrity and intellectual property
Liaise with Service processors to ensure they are informed of results of their tender
Ensure that all livestock are handled in accordance with the “Model Code of Practice for livestock at slaughtering establishments”

Qualifications required:
7. Demonstrated Livestock experience
8. Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
9. Experience in Microsoft Office applications including; Excel, Word and Outlook
10. Forklift Licence preferred but not essential
11. Wool Classers Certificate preferred but not essential
